Hi
The code behind all infotypes' maintenance uses the PSAVE structure to save the previous record instance data. I am not sure if there is a way to stop this by config. It is a common practice to check PSAVE in dynamic actions to determine the next action. The help hypertext also says that.
If you need to remove this and if the supp packs have caused a change, you may check the SAP Help portal and look for OSS notes on this subject.
