Won't you be able to do the required analysis using SIS? You could probably
achieve the same results as account based copa using a special purpose
ledger, but remember copa is also a type of special purpose ledger.
Implementing New GL only for this purpose does not make any sense and I am
not sure it can replace copa, which is totally configurable. The again, why
account based? Why not costing based?
