I agree with Waza. Your consultants may not have the global SAP system
experience and knowledge your company requires at this time. Reconsider the
consultant's credentials and capabilities. On the surface, you seem to be
getting poor advice.

Hello,

You can use a global controlling area ... though fiscal years need to be considered and most countries now allow the company to decide the fiscal year. Also depends on how you company is managed and whether internal management for each subsidiary is controlled by HQ. Just consider how you would use PCA for reporting on the BS and PL.

Lastly, it may seem your consultants may not have the diverse knowledge of doing global rollout projects. My current client has the same issue, so we are picking up the pieces as we go down the rollout road.
