Hello,

I have not worked in the final phase of a project. So was curious to know a few things. I hope Consultants will answer.

1) If we say that cut over date decided is 25.4.10, so it means after 25.4.10, the legacy system will not be used for day to day activities like new sales order booking etc. Any new sales order booking will be done in SAP . So if the go live is on 1.5.10. How will the business conduct activities between 26.4.10 and 30.4.10 ?


2) Is the master data and transaction data transferred to SAP in the period 26.4.10 to 30.4.10 ?

3) Master data like customer master etc are uploaded to SAP through tools like LSMW etc. I need to know how the open sales orders in legacy system are transferred to SAP. Open sales orders in legacy as on 25.4.10 need to be t/f to SAP. So how open sales order in legacy is booked as a sales order in SAP. Is it created manually in SAP or some tools are used ?


4) What is Black out period taking my above example ?
