Hi,
Why u want to delete log_dir? Check your log_archiv directory .When
archive log get full in archive directory ,Log_dir and log_dir2 both
folder get full.So delete files from log_archive directory keep backup
before deleting.Keep file of 20 days rest delete it or take backup.

Regards
Adil
