I would like to find out if the payroll configuration can be made in such a way that during payroll locking period, only data in future dates can be updated , but not the past date.

Also if the payroll has been exited, only payroll officers will allow the period which can be updated for the past records. eg data entry for 3 or 4 months in the past date is allowed but not more than that.
