Hello,

I'm trying to find a way to schedule a job, more precisely, to run a job via our external scheduler VTOM.
Actually, we are already doing it by configuring VTOM to run programs with their variants.

But now we want to add a spool list recipient (SM36). So the way we see it, is :
- to "schedule" a job via SM36 without choosing "Start condition"
- then to configure via VTOM to run that job which is at "Scheduled" status.

This is working great but then the job has a "finished" status and here comes the problem. VTOM can detect that job but abort it.

So, is there a way to automatically change the status of a job to "Released" so that the next morning VTOM can work correctly ?

Or, do you have a better idea regarding our needs (send the spool list by email), but still with our own scheduler ?
