How about try to user BAPI or alternative function, instead of BDc? sometimes BDC requires user/system interaction on GUI

my issue is ,i am fetching the data from sap data base and processing the
same data with little bit of changes
through me22n transaction for updating the open sto's . For this i am using
bdc recording method and it's working fine
but as per our requirement this program should be scheduled for background
processing through SM 37 t-code.
when i scheduled this program for background scheduling through sm37 , it is
giving me error in job log that
THE GUI SCREEN IS NO REACHABLE (FATAL ERROR).
