We have a third party system that calculates tax and invoices customer. The invoice is then interfaced to SAP at sales document level. Our requirement was to have the interface manually enter the sales tax on the sales order and then copy it down to the billing document for revenue recognition. I created a condition type with access sequence: UTX1, Condition class: D, Calculation type: A, condition category: 4 and Manual entries: C.

I hope that helps,

Tim

Subject: Sales tax - manual entry

>
> No limitations
> A Free
> B Automatic entry has priority
> C Manual entry has priority
> D Not possible to process manually
