It sounds possible with batch determination using a tracking characteristic for the country of origin. The sales order batch search could be set up for specific customers to avoid shipping them books from certain countries.

We have a similar issue because we sell to college bookstores and many of the college campuses are very active in human rights issues and will not allow products made in certain countries to be stocked in their stores. We would like to have SAP control these customer-based controls through Material Determination. Is that possible if using the batch master solution outlined above?
