Sunil,

In our organization we maintain emails in IT0105, SU01 & SO36. As well having the MSS role in SU01 managers also have to have MSS in the internal portal, if the roles don't match email are not sent. Sorry to ask the obvious but is the manager flagged as a chief in the org structure and has the employee definitely submitted a leave request - TXN swi5 will give you a view of the managers inbox.
