LEH, thanks for you quick response.

I do have two SAP systems installed on the same server. I have two different SID, which inturn, have their own directory paths in the USR/SAP/ folder.

I checked SAPMMC, and everything is up and running. all the work processes are running fine. I am not sure if I maybe made a mistake in creating the connection from the SAP Frontend.

I am not sure how to check for the DB manager. I opened the program, but there is nothing in there about any DBs. I am just not sure how to see if there are errors. I started the program from the path (Start--Programs--MaxDB--DatabaseMgr).

I never updated the SAP kernel to the same level as the old system. Is that a requirement ? and how can I update the kernel if I cant even open an SAP sessions on the new PSH instance that was just created.
