Hi,
errr... you are right, EHP2 is available for Netweaver only. you will need to install latest ST-PIP and ST-SER on your solman first to enable Maintenance Optimizer with newer options.
For BI Contents, you can upgrade to BI_CONT 7.04 without any EHP (1 or 2).
There are no relations between EHP and BI_CONT versions. They are independent from each other. so, you can install BI_CONT 7.04 with EHP or without it.
