Dear Vidyadhar,
Thanks for your reply. It helped me out to be confident more as in SAP
world - consultant are having different opinion sometimes where we get
perplexed and are in confused status what is right then.
Hope you like senior consultant are always there to guide us. I always
prefer to read your reply atleast in a day whenever I get my time.
Once again thanks. Thanks to IT toolbox also for exploring this kind of
open opportunity to learn SAP more and more.

Dear Subhendu
You are absolutely right in telling that document posting is not possible
without defining retained earnings account. I was under the impression
that
the query was being asked with reference to document posting and
subsequent
Balance Carry forward. Probably, Shanthin has not worded his query right
(probably he is new to SAP) and I paid particular attention to the error
message he might have seen during document posting.
Your Siemens Consultant is quite right in teaching you that definition of
one or more Retained Earnings Account is essential prior to document
posting.
