hi,
why not try this another way...
run TX SU01 in your CUA client...assign your child system logical ID and CUA logical ID to the systems tab...go to the roles tab and do a Text Comparision.
then try assigning the role o the users master record in CUA via SU01.
also run TX SCUA to ensure that all connnections b/w your CUA and child system is ok.
