Hello Yannick,
I have never done an actual TREX installation myself, but here are a few
pointers which I wanted to quickly post.

Hi Yannick,
I have not implemented the TREX but I know some thing about TREX.
it is completely user friendly (GUI) like installing other SAP systems.
Yes you can install the TREX in same solution manager system, and if you
want you can install this on a new hardware (independent server).
