Have you tried changing the validity dates of the inforecord to see if
that will work?

Actually, I am not worried about the price coming from the info record
because the price is maintained in master records. The issue for me is
that the wrong tax code is being populated. I do not want the tax code
to come from the deleted info record.
The problem with setting 06 718 to E is that the creation of the PO
comes to a halt and it doesn't let you proceed.
My PO is being created by GuiXT using ME21 without reference to a
purchase req. I am currently looking at GuiXT options to work around
this problem but would prefer a standard SAP solution. It just seems so
crazy that SAP doesn't just ignore an info record when it is flagged for
delete.
Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
