Hi Carla,

You should perform this in the Development system and then import into the QAS system and then to PRD.

Regards

Subject: Printer drivers process question - should they be transported or loaded directly via SPAD/SE38?

> I have a new printer driver to load. Searching for how to load it into SAP, I found that it could be done with the SPAD or SE38 transactions and that it could be done first in the Quality system and then transported to production.
My question is first - what process would you recommend? Second, if it is to use the Transport process - do I use SPAD/SE38 in Quality, if I do, then how do I get it to Production.
Technical details: SAP ECC6 / OS Windows 2000 / DB SQL Server 2000, sp4. Printer is a Zebra barcode printer.
Thank you
Carla
