Hi
Thanks for replying and actually the requirement is to post a journal entry to balance sheet account and while doing so in FB50 user also need to specify a profit center.
So normaly when you post any journal entry for P&L account the cost center needs to be specified for that and profit center accounting will derive the cost from that cost center, and for balance sheet accounts the automatic profit center derivation is configured in 3KEi and 3KEH.
So in case of balance sheet account its derived automatically from 3KEI and 3KEH.
Now client wants two differnt End user to post Journal entries to one same balance sheet account and entries from both these users should go to different profit centers.
As in 3KEI and 3KEH we are maintaining GL and profit center combination its not possible to change this config everytime when different profit center needs to be posted for that same Balance sheet account.
thanks in advance
peter

> Hi Experts
My client requirement is to post one profit center for one balance sheet account in FB50 and second time post the same balance sheet account for different profit center. In short they want to post the JE and specify the profit center manually for posting balance sheet account without 3KEH and 3KEI settings. The system does not post the profit center while posting balance sheet account without 3KEI and 3KEH settings,So its not useful if I specify a profit center when posting balance sheet account in FB50.
I dont know weather its possible or not?Can anyone please help on this ASAP.
Regards
Peter
