The same approach with which Paymetric's Tokenization solution is used to secure credit card numbers can also be used to secure other data types/fields in SAP. With this approach you can control, via SAP security objects, which users have the authority to view the decrypted data and which will only view tokens.

Hello,
has anyone information or experiance with encryption in SAP. I don't mean in regards to credit card information but rather standard SAP custom tables and fields within a table. I would need to ensure that specific data (limited to less than a handful fields) is encrypted and only specific users have access to the real data. I also would consider any 3rd party tools on the market to make this happen.
Any response is wellcome.
