Hi,
The java stack parameters resides in the database and in the file system
under "/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<sysno>/j2ee".
So, as long as you have a backup of these 2 things, you should be ok.
However, what you must do is to perform enough restore tests so you can
document every little step that is required in your environment to get the
system running.
It's not by any means enough just to perform the backups. You must also
train on how to use them.

Hi Erik,
Thanks for the information. What about any java parameters changes . If i
take the above mentioned backup then i can up the server with the current
configruations rite.
