In my opinion, you are trying to use internal orders for more than they are
intended. If IO is not configured, you will need to do this configuration
to turn on this module. It might be better for you to use this effort to
turn on profit center accounting instead. I recommend that you research the
purpose and possible use of both IO and PCA before you do a lot of work that
may not achieve your desired results (or at least might not achieve them
without a lot of effort, including, possibly, customization and manual
reposting.
