I may be able to add a few suggestions as well. Amit is correct - if all of this is happening in the same furnace as you ramp up temperature to produce the nickel, you would go with a co-product scenario and potentially utilise apportionment in the material master and production version to distribute costing and standard planning. I helped to set up a similar design in a chemicals facility a few years ago and I would be happy to share the basic structure we used to accomplish this end.
