Hi Clive
Yes, you can post, provided you have not already crossed the next pay period (pp). It could be necessary to inform the users not to do anything with the control record, till you finish the corrections.
You can do as below:
a)In PA03 txn - note down the payroll area control record details Delete the payroll area record.
b)Recreate the payroll area control rec with the current pp as 6, the one before the problem period and the remaining control record details as before. Release the payroll area, then exit. This will bring the pp back to 7 the problem period.
c)If you like, you may delete the pay results of pp 7 for the problem employee.
d)Re-run payroll for the empl for pp 7.
e)Post the results to FI/CO.
