Hi Chandu,
Make sure you have done the update statistic for the table, CBO will take a look for table statistic, just update/recreate the statistic from DB20

Actually the reason why the question is raised is that .I created the index few months back .Now the abapers ran a sql trace & raised back that the program didn't pick the index from the table & asked to check the consistency of the table s in DB level.When checked in se14.The table looks consistent .So was thinking if i missed something after creating the index.Please let me know further
