SAP Library - Find your answers

Hi there,

Regarding your problem, from what i do see is that, when your release the job, how is the hardware resources, and how is batch processes, are they any free batch processes available. ( Background ) may be that could be a reason. Is there any third party tool that are u using besides STMS.

What does the transport logs say?
Are you able to release request that doesn't include roles?
If so, did you try with just 1 small role?

We have modified around 90 roles due to an SOD requirement and now 6
transport requests have been created containing 15 roles each.

However; each time I release the Transport Request containing the roles - it
fails all the time. I have increased the rdisp/wp_max_runtime setting (60
mins) for the Dev server, but still no luck.
It reads the table TLOCKPC and just takes too long. I have up to date
statistics on this table and that doesnt help either.
Finally, I reduced the no. of roles to just 4 and even then its just dying
out with a short dump.
Could you please suggest some changes for it to succeed?
