Hi,

If you use the profile SAP_CUST you won't get any data in the target client.
That's kind of the whole point of using that profile.
You could use profile SAP_UCUS if you want to copy the user master data in
addition to the customizing.

I would absolutely recommend to copy PROD -> QA -> DEV, if you must copy all
the way to DEV.
To refresh QA from PROD is usually done 1 or more times each year, though.

Thank you all for your feedback...How about if we did a sap_cust client
copy to DEV100 from a new DEV client that we created? Would all of the
config and master data still be there? We've done this before and none
of the master data was there.
Also, have any of you heard of doing a PRD refresh directly from PRD to
DEV vs. copying from PRD to QAS and then to DEV? Pls let me know...

Hi Eric,
I totally agree. In all the projects I have been on we have never copied
production over Development, one of the reasons is the when you perform
a development you are testing od a lot of data.
