SAP now has TDMS test data management server, I have not worked with it
but it may be worth looking at.

Hi,
And of course you need to ask yourself - do I REALLY want to have all PROD
data in my DEV system?
There could be quite a lot of data that shouldn't be available to other than
a few people in the HR department. Like salaries and stuff like that.
Often in DEV the users have much more rights than in PROD.
Did you consider performing a client copy instead? I mean only copy the
customizing. This might be an option?

LEH

Hi Kim,
This has been discussed many times in this group. You need to release all
open transport requests then you need to save the Development Version
Management using SAP note 130906.
You need to follow the steps in the Homogenous System Copy Guide and post
copy processes.
You will find the guide at http://service.sap.com/systemcopy

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any insight re: doing PRD refresh to your DEV
configuration client. This is DEV client is typically using for
configuration, and your TMS system. This client does not contain any master
or transactional data. If you do a refresh from PRD, what risk(s) would you
take in losing any of your configuration and/or TMS landscape settings?
Please let me know...
Thanks in advance...
