Hi Kim,

This is a difficult question to answer, if you use Profile SAP_CUST and a
client export with Tx SCC8 you will only copy over Customising data to all
your clients. I certainly would NPT recommend using SAP_ALL into the 4
clients. Your Database will grow very large.

I am not 100% sure if importing the export of SAP_CUST all existing Master
data will remain, that you will have to test this.

Regards

Hello David,
What risk, if any, would we take if we were to refresh all of the DEV
clients with the exception of 100 ('golden' configuration client)? We
currently have the following DEV landscape:
100 - Config. Master
110 - Master data
120 - Sandbox
130 - Unit test
140 - New Sandbox refresh from PRD
Please let me know...
Thanks again, Kim

Hello Kim,
The more I think about this the more I would stress that a system copy
from Production to Development is not a good idea. Lars-Erik has already
pointed out that there might be data like salaries and personall data
and Financial data that should not be available. You will also have to
examine the output determination of Purchase Orders and Sales Orders
because if you are using e-mail then it is possible for documents to be
sent from the development client incorrectly.
One possible method is to perform and Client copy of Customising data
and get the consulltants to re-create the main master data.
There are also 3rd party products available to enable you to copy
sub-sets of data, one such tool is Infoshuttle. Other products have been
mentioned in past messages in this group, you can search the archives.
