You check with the Basis as well as this RFC connection is very important.
Also, try again going to SWU3 and see if it is asking again for the
username & password.
What you can do is :

The workflow runtime system always executes its tRFC (transactional RFC)
calls on the logical destination WORKFLOW_LOCAL_xxx (xxx stands for the
three-digit number of the client).
The workflow runtime system only operates within one client. The naming
for the logical destination guarantees that these names are unique across
the system.
If you carry out this activity automatically, the logical RFC destination
WORKFLOW_LOCAL_xxx is created if it does not yet exist. The user WF-BATCH
is assigned to this destination.
If you belong to the SUPER user group, and the WF-BATCH user does not
exist, it is created and automatically gets the maximum authorization of
the current user (SY-UNAME). The system user must have the authorization
SAP_ALL if the workflow system is to function without problems.
This function is to be performed once by a user who belongs to the SUPER
user group.
If you carry out this activity manually, you can maintain another system
user and another password.

Once done, try csending some data through RFC enabled FM and see if it is
working fine.
Also, see if all the steps are having a right tick Mark. If not, check &
configure all the steps.

RE:[sap-wf] Workflow problem in "user decision" step and

Yes aadesh . this the first time Workflow has been configured on this
Server.
I clicked on execute in SWU3 auto-customizing menu and a popup apperaed
saying RFC password and username is wrong and took me to the login screen
where i enterd the username and password. But the mail step still does not
send a mail to my SAP inbox and just takes me to the login screen .
Please tell me if I am missing out something in the Automatic Customizing
settings through the TCode SWU3. __.____._
