In SAP B1, you would see the document date and posting date to be populated automatically. However, the delivery date is left blank, by default. If you are dealing with a scenario where, your company deals with fixed logic for delivery dates, you could put a formatted search on the delivery date field and link it to any other field on your order screen.
Please tell us how many days lead time does your company consider for delivery?
Something like, delivery is after 'x' days from the date of order placement.
If you give us the logic for determining delivery date by default, we could help you with the query for formatted search to be put into the delivery date field.
