Hi,

You could easily create a condition table for material exclusion which contains not the material, but only the plant.
This will give you the result that noone can place orders against that plant, but the error message will be something like "Material has been excluded".
´
Hope this helps

Subject: [sap-log-sd] the best way for blocking a plant for sales orders
Hello gurus,
I have several plants assigned to a sales area, and now a couple of these plants are not having stock anymore. So that the users want to avoid create sales orders using these obsolete plants. The flag for deletion gives a warning, it is not enough, and material status by plant, avoids any movement but allows to save a sales order...could you give us more ideas ? We were thinking is unassigned these 2 plants form teh sales area...but perhaps it is too heavy...
thanks a lot!
