Toolbox sap-devNeal,
Thanks a ton for the Help. The problem has been resolved. We are able to convert list to pdf , store in the unix box and send mail
using our own SMTP. It was a problem with import statement.
Regards,
Harsha

Neal,
I tried all the combincation, nothing seems to work. I even exported the sy-spono from the called program
and importing on submit retuns to calling program. But import brings 0000 instead of acutal spool number.
Please send a source code, if you have.
REgards,
Harsha

When I did this kind of thing:
I created a second step that was a program that read the job number.
From the job number there is a table that gets you the spool number.
Now you've got the spool number and you can proceed. I'll see if i can
find that code bit and pass you some clues. I believe that I was
actually mailing the spool instead of PDF'ing it.
*
Just as a note though, you'll make your Basis people crazy if your job
crashes everytime it runs. Remember, you need tham to be your friends
not your enemies.
