Prerequisites
- The two applicant activities between which the reference is to be created already exist.
You can also create a reference when you are creating follow-on activities for an existing applicant activity. See Creating Reference Activities for an Applicant Activity.
- You are on the Maintain Applicant Activities screen.
- When creating the reference you must first select the activity for which the data is required.
Procedure
You can create, change, or delete a reference activity for an applicant activity.
In order to: | Proceed as follows: | Result |
Create a reference activity | Select the activity that requires the data, and choose Edit ® Maintain reference. Select the activity that requires the data, and choose Edit ® Choose reference activity. Save the reference. | A reference activity has been assigned to an applicant activity. |
Change a reference activity | Select the activity whose reference activity you want to change, and choose Edit ® Maintain reference. Select the activity you want to define as the new reference activity, and choose Edit ® Choose reference activity. Confirm that you want to change. Save the reference. | A different reference activity has been assigned to an applicant activity. |
Delete a reference activity | Select the activity whose reference activity you want to delete, and choose Edit ® Maintain reference. Choose Edit ® Delete reference. Save. | The reference activity is deleted. |
