I can select "completion" for another drop-down; but the 3 options under that one are grayed out too....

I am brand new to using SAP. I just started a new position and the existing system has not been maintained over the past several years.
I have over 8000 work orders in system status of REL or CRTD. I want to delete all of them and start a new backlog.
Can someone explain how to do this?
