Put the hostname of every virtual server (ASCS, CI, DB) and IP in the Hosts file, and try again.

Hello,
I?m trying to perform a SAP installation using some virtual hostnames, In the phase 1, the ASCS installation in the screen when it asks the instance number of ASCS and the hostname I put the virtual hostname prdhaascs but the SWPM show me the following error:
The host with the name prdhaascs is not a valid virtual host on the local host.

I already put that hostname in /etc/hosts file but the error persists!
I searched for a solution and I found the following SAP notes:
2279110 - Error "The host with the name <host> is not a validvirtual host on the local host" during execution of Software ProvisioningManager tool
962955 - Use of virtual or logical TCP/IP hostnames
But I can?t understand the explications in the sap note 962955.
Can you help me please?
