It seems the don't want to perform PGI per TO item but the want to perform PGI per TO (which has to be created per storage type)
Example: They have 1 delivery with 1 TO. They want 2 TO's (the items in the delivery are devided over 2 storage types. The want 1 TO per storage type) to be able to pick them separately.
Now the issue is that they want to perform the PGI for TO 1 earlier than TO 2, they want to ship the TO items earlier too. So we need 2 deliveries I suppose.
Since TO 1 is confirmed and TO 2 is not you cannot do a subsequent delivery split.
So I have the following question: can we interfere during the TO creation to see if a delivery will have multiple TO's (because of the stock which is devided over multiple storage types) then stop creating the TO's but split the delivery instead (1 delivery per storage type)? After the delivery is split then create 1 TO per delivery.
If you have other ideas please share!

My client has a process where outbound deliveries are created when sufficient stock exists. After that TO's are created (incl multiple storage types).
Now they want to split the TO's per storage types. This is clear to me.
Now they also want to post goods issue for each of these TO's separately. In order to do so they have to split the preceding delivery but with the restriction that this has to be done before that packing starts. This is not completely clear to me.
I suppose it can be done via subsequent delivery split. Do I have to mind some specific things? Will the process work with the splitting of TO and afterwards the delivery for example?
Would like to have your opinions!
