Dear Mr Virupaksh (hope I have spelled your name correctly), Thanks a ton for such a prompt response -I really appreciate that. I have a few more clarifications . My scenario is that my Company Code = Country 1) When you say that "you can maintain the Group COA while creating the Operating COA", does it mean that Group COA does not needs to be Defined/Created separately. It will create/define on its own. 2) In case of different COA in different Company Codes i.e each company Code is in different country, then also we need to create a Group COA. This is different from your statement of being company codes in the same country. 3) When I say "Across Company codes, I mean different COA in different countries and each country is defined as a company code being business operations. 4) As per my understanding, any Operating COA in a country or a company code (if the company code = country) can also be used for legal , tax transactions.
