Sorry for late reply and You need a help from SAP EC-CS Consolidation Consultant help to work on this issue as it is not straight forward to create a separate group and roll the data into.
You have to adopt Divestiture function and also change in design/configuration based on how business wants to roll up numbers with Cons Groups with Cons Units

My company has split into 2 public companies. We use ECCS and had one consolidation group for the company. Beginning in Feb 2016, we created 2 new consolidation groups to split the cons units between the original company and the new company. We are having issues when rolling the data forward from the original cons groups to the new cons groups for level 20 entries. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? |
