This is possible by assigning capitalization version to deprec. area and capitalizing % from the value posted to 01 to these areas (i.e. 10)

Subject: Why a Fixed Asset Acquistion Amount for Tax is Less Than Book Value

When I ran depreciation area 01 vs area 10 (tax) for a fixed asset, the acquisition value for each area is different. Why? While the depreciation/cost recovery schedule is different, but I would expect the ACQUISITION amount for both areas to have the same amount.
