Thank you very much for the reply. So this is what I m going to do as my client wants to go from year dependent to year independent. The twist is that they have already done some postings in 2015 by continuing in the number range of 2014. Example- They had posting till 10000032132 in 2014 & they started 2015 from 10000032133. Now they did some postings in 2015 as well as 2014. So both sequences increased respectively.
They want to make their number range independent now. So this is what I m going to do.
a) Copy number range from 2014/2015 to 9999 through Tcode-OBH2. Here 9999 current sequence will be 0.Now I will edit current number sequence of year 9999 to the current sequence of either 2014 or 2015 whichever is higher since they will be doing postings in 2014 as well.
b) Now I will make current sequence of year 2014 & 2015 as 0 & then will go to edit of Tcode FBN1 & will choose option of DELETE YEAR. This way postings of both 2014 & 2015 will go to year 9999.
Pls correct me if my process is wrong. Is there any chance that I will loose some documents or will have some issues by making year dependent number ranges (already some postings) to year independent number range.
Pls advice.

We have a complex situation. My client has by mistake created a wrong number range I.e. while creating number range against New year 2015 they mentioned last sequence of 2014 at current sequence of 2015. Instead of current sequence of 2014 they should have mentioned 0 at current sequence of 2015.
Is there any sap note or any other solution. We can still put 0 at current sequence of 2015 to make it correct but what those who have been posted around 150 docs.
Please advice.
