Hi Ha Tran,

The option of split valuation was explored with MM consultant. A high impact in this particular case was prevented.

Subject: Different Material Movement Type in Projects

Hi,

I want to know if it's possible to have planned and actual costs in projects for materials with different accounts.

We need the account to be automatically determined from MM data; like this: For the same material we need G/L account 4NNNNNNNNN (costs) for customer projects and G/L account 6NNNNNNNN (expenses) for internal projects.

In one side we set two different procurement indicators (one for internal projects and the other for customer projects); each one attached to networks profiles.

In the other hand, we have a new movement type Z03 we want to use only for customer projects.

In tx OPT1 we have defined Movement Types Z03 for Material Movements for plant stock and Project stock.

When we create internal (company) or external (customer) projects, we have different procurement indicators but the movement type is the same (Z03).

The same account (4NNNNNNNNN costs) is displayed in the material purchase data for both projects.

How can I set movement type Z03 for project stock external projects and movement type 281 for project stock internal projects?

Any suggestions?
