From your email it appears that we can opt any one of the following for
total value of year say $12.000
*1. PO with qty and rate *
- Qty 12
- Rate $ 1000
Every month GR for 1 qty ( 1*1000) = GR value 1000. This is normal process
we do in case of supplies.
*2. PO with total value with qty as unit 1 for whole year*
- Unit 1
- Value $ 12000
We receive monthly invoice of $1000 and GR can be taken for this amount and
PO will carry $11,000 balance and will allow to take next receipts of $1000
for following month. Can we take receipts as per invoice value?
Is my understanding correct?

Another option is to create a PO where quantity and unit is 12 mos. (1
year) and everytime there is a billing, you can do a goods receipt of 1
mo. Then do the MIRO (Invoicing). Then you can do three way matching.
