Hi Sunnyboy,

You were completely right about the user exit for the picking strategy. Unfortunately :-(
We have the following issue.
The oldest pallet in bulkstorage is not complete. So normally 50 on a pallet but now 47 as unrestricted in bulk and the other 3 which normally complete the pallet are booked to another storagetype/bin because they are blocked (s). And lets say 10 are in picking bin in the pick storage type. Now with the big/small pickingstrategy and a customer request of 55 it will pick 47 from that old bulk pallet and 8 from the picking bin. So far so good.
However, it is serialnumber stock, and these 3 which were booked to blocked stock are randomly chosen from the 50 of that old pallet. So when the pallet with 47 has to be picked they cannot do scan first serial nr and scan last serialnr because lets say the 4th, 23rd and 45th serialnumber of that pallet of 50 are booked to blocked stock.
I think to prevent this situation of occurring we have to skip this pallet of 47 and pick the following pallet which does have 50 (unless this pallet has less quantity because of this. blocked serialnr issue too).
So then 50 are picked from bulk and 5 from pick.
Will you share your thought about a user exit for the picking strategy which can skip this 47 (although it is the oldest pallet) and go on to the next one and does the same check?
Is it a lot of work for a abap guy to achieve this? What does he have to do?
Thanks a lot! Real big issue for me now.

Subject: Picking Strategy from Two Storage Types

HI Guru's,

i've got the following situation.

We a have high rack storage type and we have a fixed bin storage type.
In the high rack we have full pallets, let's say 100 pcs of material A per pallet.
In the fixed bin we have a fixed bin with a max bin quantity of 100 for the same material A.

Now when a client has a request of 350 pcs we want to pick 3 pallets from the high rack and 50 pcs from the fixed bin storage location.

Is this possible by using a standard picking strategy like 'M'?
THANKS!!
