Reply from loknathrao on May 6 at 2:21 PM For this you have two options. Use Business system group if the logical systems for SAP ECC are different... that I presume are for e.g. India and US. Alternatively you can MAP the source products to a common planning product in APO i.e. you maintain a unique product in APO and then publish the results of supply planning to relevant source systems. For this you probably need to use a CIF inbound exit for Material.

We have a case wherein the same product refers to different sap material codes depending on the location. Lets say Asia is using material code X while US is using material code Y for the same product. There are several reasons for this design but don't want to further elaborate on that. 2. There are scenarios wherein an Asia location source their material from US location and planning will soon be in APO. So what will happen is that Asia will have sales orders for material Y then they will source from US but that product is material X in US. I am thinking of using form fit function but this means that I need to extend material Y to US location and I am not very sure if this is a clean design with regards to the perspective of execution Has anyone already had a similar scenario in APO planning? Appreciate your guidance. Thanks! Mylene | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
