Reply from DonnaS on Sep 12 at 6:24 PM This depends on what is meant by benchmark codes. The evaluation group is used to identify a group of positions that are all similar and would be assessed under the same benchmark. This sounds like what you are trying to do. For example, if a company has 200 accountant positions, and 20 accounting managers, they might put all of the accountant positions into one benchmark group and the accounting managers into a different benchmark group. If the 200 accountants consisted of Jr, regular and Sr. Accountants, they might be split into separate groups if they evaluate the jobs at these different levels. Evaluation group does need to be configured. IMG > Personnel Management > Compensation Management > Job Pricing > Job Evaluation Data > Define Job Evaluation Groups Also, I noticed you referenced PO13. Usually most of this type of work takes place on Jobs, not Positions. Using jobs lessens the data maintenance. Donna

Our HR partners want to create new Benchmark codes like E.g. DTS000 corresponding to a position, but I am unable to understand the field in which I should be maintaining these Benchmark codes under IT 1050. There is a dropdown to maintain 'Evaluation Group'. So will I have to create values under this drop down with all the values like DTS000? Thanks! | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
