Reply from hovering_yogi on Aug 20 at 8:01 AM Yes that's my point though - the sales order is just the vehicle for the quantity and confirmation of when the requested quantities can actually be delivered. It is not until the later logistic processes take place that you need to worry about how much you can fit on a pallet, in a truck, in a container, etc. The detailed transport is not often known at sales order entry anyway so it's best to leave flexibility until later and leave logistics planners to do the split of the quantities appropriately (aided by the system as appropriate at that point in time) Don't try and replicate the functionality of the WM Picking, and transportation shipping processes within the sales order schedule line results. ATP is complicated enough without trying to unnecessarily generate schedule lines that have no real benefit. I've seen people before try and generate their own results and it always ends messily.

Create sales order, item copper, qty 100 mt, to be delivered in 5 containers 2. We need that SAP creates 5 scheduling lines with item copper, qty 20 3. After this our shipping department will send request for containers to our forwarding agents using the picking slip where they will mention from which plant the material will be delivered. How to achieve point 2. Thanks and Regards, Arun Kumar Menon | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
