We are in scrap trading business. We are currently in the BBP phase and
need to make a decision
The scheduling lines are needed for the shipping department to know and
manage their shipping process based on the scheduling lines. Sometimes there
will be a delivery date known sometimes not known.
Here the shipping department needs to know only the material, qty, customer
and delivery date if any, sales order valid till date.
We were suggesting picking slip as a process to be given to the shipping
department.

If you are using the pick slip why do you need the sales order schedule
lines to reflect the split required in logistics processing after all the
material in the total volume is either available on the requested dates or
not.
Why can't you just use the WM quantities to split the pick? |
