Question from Miki Shamzhoi on May 1 at 7:55 AM At my current client's legacy system when the warehouse employee performs picking a handheld printer immediately prints a pick label. For example, if the TO is assigned to a user to pick 10 qty and there is only 8 qty of the material in the bin. When he confirms he picked 8 qty on the RF device, the pick label immediately prints with 8 qty. The client does NOT want the TO to be confirmed at the time of this label print as the material is not yet at the destination bin (It is still near the source bin). I don't know how to trigger printing from the RF device out-of-box when the TO is still open. I am seeking a standard SAP solution to this. I looked into Print Control config and saw that there is a config setting called Time of Printing, which if I set as "X - transfer order is printed when it is posted". However, my gut feeling tells me that update here means after TO confirmation. I was wondering if anyone out there had to deal with this possible... or if is this requirement can be fulfilled with two step confirmation or two-step picking? Two-step confirmation is preferred as it involves only one TO. | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
