Reply from sigurd_christensen on Apr 9 at 6:02 AM Hi, the only split I have used (and found to be working) is the split according to Picking Area – a BIN master data, set up in customizing and assigned to the BINs.
E.g.: if You have different people working with picking in different areas or even different buildings – then You can distinguish between these areas using Picking area – and make the TO split into >1 according to this.
But the sorting will not split the TO – it will arrange the TO items in the order You define. E.g.: arrange the TO items in Material code order – or in source/picking BIN order.

What is significance of sorting profile for example , I have made 2 sorting profile 1. Source Storage Type 2. Source Bin. and allocated to TO split Profile.
Now will TO split will happen when Source Storage is changed .
I have kept AAA storage type as Source and 916 as destination with 601 movement. |
